Bringing God.

Our team flag.  Our handprints on the Swazi mountains. Monday through Friday we get to spend most of our day at the carepoints [where the kids are taught, fed and looked after]. We help out with the preschool classes, cook with the grandmas, hold beautiful children, help with the Bible club, and sweat through an array of crazy running games. One AMAZING first week.

Family and Friends, We made it! We arrived in South Africa later in the evening on Tuesday after a long 16 hour flight across the ocean. After a variety of movies, some not-so-bad plane food and a little turbulence we were all ready to be on solid ground again. We spent out first African night in a hotel near the airport before we enjoyed a breakfast of eggs, jam and toast, an assortment of meats, cereal and fresh squeezed passion fruit juice. We were pretty sure we could get used to that, but instead we jumped on a 20-passenger van and headed out on a beautiful ride towards the...

Safe in Swaziland!

Hey all you awesome family, friends, and supporters! Just a quick update –  After a long 17 hour flight, team Swaziland is in country, safe and happy! Over the next couple of days they will be resting and recovering from jetlag (yes, their day is our night!) and settling into their location that will be home for the next month!
